Great light weight daily running shoe.

The Kinvara simply works great for my running. I'm 75 years old, have been running for 60 years, along with a thousands of miles cycling. I run about 20 miles a week (give or take) and feel the Kinvara offers ample cushioning and performance.

Kinvara 14 was better

the Kinvara 16 is not anything like the Kinvara 14. No changes should have been made to the Kinvara 14. The 14 was very flexible, light, and responsive to the ground. The 16 is too mushy, stiff and loses the feel the the ground. I would not buy another pair of the 16 and would return them if I could. I bought 4 and used and still have one pair of the Kinvara 14. Why change a good thing when you have it. The mesh upper on the 14 was very breathable and stayed dry.

Heel Flare Tendinitis

I wore the Kinvara line exclusively for years but beginning with the totally redesigned 15, I believe, it has gotten worse with every change. The 16’s heel curve and flare is so severe that I suffered Achilles tendinitis which put me out of action. I’ve had to change brands.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Wonderful shoe

I bought this a replacement for my HOKA Cliftons. Having had both hip replacement and back surgery in the last 9 months, I am on the treadmill and elliptical. I have found the shoe to be quite comfortable with good support. I have no issues with discomfort. The shoes look much better than my HOKAs which remind me of an old pony horse rocker.
