    Great Boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 8th pair of keen boots. I totally love these boots. 1st day I got them i wore them for 6 hrs no issues. Next 3 days they were worn 12+ hrs for work. NO ISSUES! NO PAIN! NO PROBLEMS! I always recommend keen boots to anyone who asks about getting new boots. I love the wider toebox so my toes have room to stretch out and not feel compacted. Since I've gotten these boots I've had 2 of my coworkers go and buy keen boots and they like them alot as well. Thanks for building the best boots I've ever had. Keep up the great work keen company and I look forward to my 9th pair purchase in January of 2026!!!

Amazing light hiking boots in every way. I bought these in a pinch before a Colorado trip for mountain trekking. My luggage was delayed, but we couldn't delay our plans, so I went to an outdoor shop in Ft. Collins, CO and picked these up, thinking they'd probably rub my heels raw so I added tape to my heels. I honestly was blown away. . . first off, the fit was absolutely perfect for my wide feet (I bought wide versions). But they felt like they were already broken in. Light, flexible, and I was left thinking "I'm glad my heavier boots were delayed!" We went up to Long's Peak, a pretty tricky but do-able hike (very gentle until you get above ridgeline). We trotted along Crater Lake before an early lunch, then headed for the summit, which is a bit more serious. Not a problem. . . the boots, despite being light, felt very solid, predictable and dependable. . . stepping my way along the large rocks was a pleasure, and I just kept thinking "this can't be possible" because my go-to mountain boots were way heavier. But the best part is the fit. I don't know if it's just my foot, but it's like Keen somehow had a model of my foot for this design. . . I have very wide feet, and wearing crap footwear has given some subtle corns, meaning foot bone joints that are scarred and easily inflamed. None of that with these boots. . . again, I was in disbelief. I got back home and did yard work, shovel work, mowed the grass, felled some trees and everything in between. These dang boots just kept me smiling. I suddenly realized I wanted another pair so I could alternate them to extend the life of each (I do this with gear I come to depend on. . . when I find something that works, I buy multiples). I have since bought more Keen gear, and the only disappointment was their paracord sandals, which grew to stink so bad in bare feet, even after washing in the machine with Affresh tablets multiple times, that I had to throw them away. Glad I have two of these great boots, going strong after 6 years or so, and am buying more Keen gear with no disappointments (except the paracord stink. . . that twisted cord encased in a nylon sheath really isn't meant for footwear). So I'm a Keen boot guy now, and a Mizuno tennis shoe guy. . these two companies are expensive, but they truly do put a lot into their design and research

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have been great so far. I have trudged through multiple feet of snow and sludge and my feet have stayed warm and dry. I am a long time Keen customer and have owned somewhere between 20-30 pairs of shoes over the years. The quality has definitely gone down as of recently. My last several pairs having been warrantied. In my most recent experience any issues happens about the sixth month mark. This review should be sent then to see how they hold up over time. We'll see how they are holding up after a winter of snow, rain and sludge. But so far so good.

Unfortunately the quality of the dyed leather boots is very poor and a disappointment . I’ve owned my last pair for 10 years. I purchased a new pair of Targhee IV within 2 months of owning I used baking soda to clean the boots (as I was advised by Keen) the color completely was removed and left a black awful looking boot.
