Vionic Gemma II Mule

WHAT do I have to do to get a decent pair of shoes to fit me comfortably? I exchanged "1" Gemma, already! WHY am I stuck AGAIN with sub-par products??? EVERY question I've asked, I'm still too far away, to have you walk over!

I have had several pairs of the older style of the Gemma slipper and loved them. I asked my son to give me a pair for Christmas. Tried using them but found them to be too hard and uncomfortable. My old pair is getting worn out so I tried again - have not been able to break the Gemma II in where they feel good. Very hard sole. I'm now on the hunt for a different brand.

I've been buying Vionic slippers for quite a few years now, until they got rid of the nicer looking, softer slipper... that had a bit of a more feminine look. This new style was a true disappointment. I'd been trying other slipper brands, and finally came back to Vionic, thinking, even if the style doesn't appeal to me, it would fit the same way, and the quality would be better than what's out there. But... NOPE, these don't fit as well, and this new style isn't even close to as good as the old style, and therefore not worth the price. They are not comfortable, and the bottom is really awful, my heels keep sticking to it, it's not soft. In fact, though it doesn't feel like sandpaper, the way my heels stick to it, it sure sounds like sandpaper, or velcro. The sound and the feeling of my heel being stuck to the fabric makes me cringe every time I take a step. Hopefully, that will diminish as I wear them more, but... please BRING BACK the old slippers - and some pretty colors too! Sorry folks, but if you want a devoted customer, then NEW should mean IMPROVED. You had a loyal customer, but now... you ruined a good thing. I wouldn't buy these again. The quality is not what I know it used to be (the only thing that seems to still be ok is the arch), and I don't need to spend this kind of money on a pair I don't even like. All we're asking for is the quality product you used to sell.

I bought these last year and I just love them so much I'm buying another. They feel so great on my feet!

Great slippers. Awesome arch support, soft and. Cozy.

Great slide slipper. However, I wish Vionic would come up with a slipper footbed material that will hold up well when feet become sweaty.

This is my second pair of Gemma !! slippers. Fit great, good arch support, keep my feet toasty!
