Brooks Ghost 17 Running Shoe - Women's

I like that there isn't too much cushioning but still has a soft and bouncy landing. I use these shoes for any type of run and even for races. You can't go wrong with a classic.

too narrow don't fit. I always order 10 with no problems but the shoes cramp up my feet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 shoes, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my daily routine. At 63 and moderately active, I don’t do much running, but I do walk about 3 to 4 miles each day—and these shoes have made a noticeable difference in both comfort and stability. What stands out most is how supportive they feel. The cushioned sole is gentle on my feet, which really helps during longer walks, and the slightly wider outsole provides excellent stability. Each step feels secure, giving me the confidence to keep moving without worrying about discomfort or imbalance. This is actually my second pair of Ghost shoes, and based on my experience, it definitely won’t be my last. They strike a great balance between comfort, support, and durability—exactly what I need to stay active every day.

The other reviews are right: this shoe runs narrower than other Ghost models. I had to get a wide after wearing normal width in several other generations. But once I got this fit right, these are my favorite Ghosts in a long while. Both cushy and firm enough to feel really table, and the large lip in the back makes them easy to pull on.
