My son and I have been buying this shoe for the past 4 years. Great utility shoes! We wear the outside in the farm a lot. The last us about one year, which is great for how tough we are on them. I hope Skechers never descontinue them.

Two Manufacturing Defects

I have 3 pairs of the original (made cheaper) and two pairs of 2.0 editions (looks better made). But, the 2.0 at the widest outside part of a shoe has extra support band that actually pinches the shoe downward and inward onto the top of the foot and the outside of the foot. In essence, it makes this shoe narrower and lower in that area. In addition, one of the new 2.0 pairs has a 1/4 inch wide seam x about 3 inches on the inside of the shoe running right along the widest area (that's made narrower) - causing this rigid seam to be pressed into the outside of your foot. I ordered the 4E width as I like my shoes roomy. The new 2.0 made better with new support has a couple manufacturing issues. I'd say one pair has a defect in the rigid protruding seam inside it. Will be returning the 2.0's.

Great shoe for walking

This is a great shoe and very worth the price. I need a walking shoe with a very solid and firm sole. This shoe is perfect for that. Wasn't concerned about the look as much as comfort and function but it's a good looking shoe as well!
