Loose fitting

I like the sandals, but I've had ryka sandals in the past that I liked much better. I find them to be very loose fitting on my foot even with the adjustable straps. I've been buying wide width in my other ryka shoes to accommodate a swollen arthritic toe, but after reading reviews I chose the regular width and it's good I did. As loose as they are, they won't be good for anything requiring stability. Definitely casual wear only.

Mom's 88 this month and needed relief with narrow feet and hammer toe. She's pushing a wheelchair at the skilled care and walking the neighborhood on a vacation. Chose half size down.

wonderful style and fit, but lacking support

I LOVE the style of this sandal. But it's missing the wonderful arch support that usually accommodates my foot in a Ryka shoe. I love the way you can adjust the heel and top foot strap. I have a narrow heel and this works perfectly as far as fit. So fit and style is great. The arch support is missing, as least for me, and my foot felt like it would get sweaty if I walked far in this sandal. Sadly I will have to return. I've had a Ryka sandal that I love for 8 years, but it's wearing out.

Disappointed

Hi, I am very disappointed in the changes made to the sole and the added cushioning. I have been wearing ryka shows going back 15 years. They wear well and thought of buying two more pairs that looked simular to my older ryka shoes. The heel height and cushioning to the Echo and Joy shoes after trying on was a surprise after taking my first couple of steps. I have had three knee surgeries. Any added height and cushion can create added instability and discomfort to walk. After 50 years in nursing, it has taken a toll on my knees. A firm supported sole with less cushion of the past years is perfered. I am a retired senior and have lost the window to return by 12 days. Time flies. It is unfortunate, since I am on limited funds. Arch support

The arch support is not what it used to be from a previous pair of sandals I have. I was disappointed when I received my new sandals.

Had to return

Really wanted to love the sandals, but was so disappointed. They did not have the cushioning and were not comfortable like all of my other Rykä shoes. The straps were too wide and looked frumpy on.
No, I do not recommend this product.
