I am on my 3rd pair and am very happy with the fit and comfort of this boot. But mostly I like the agressive tread design of the sole. Great grip while hiking up hills and down into valleys. I'm 69 yrs. old and usually hike 4/5 miles at my local park 3/4 times per week. By fall of 2026 I'll be buying my 4th pair.

First boot I find that is both wide width and high enough to protect the ankle. Thank you to someone who previously mentioned this in the reviews below since that was the deciding factor in purchasing these. Highly recommend.

Bought these shoes for my husband. Sometimes a size 13 fits and sometimes it doesn’t - but these fit! Yay! Didn’t even need to break them in before hiking in them. They look good. I reccomend.

Shoe feels great and lots of support. But after a while, when tying the upper portion, the tongue bunches up and gets in the way of a tight ankle feel. IF possible, go with the PRO ridge walker...just for the tongue.

Usually wear wide but got the extra wide so my thicker winter socks could fit. The extra wide is definitely bigger on me but I am going to keep them. They’re comfortable and have good traction. I really like them!

I bought this pair as well as the "Pro" Ridge Walker. These are actually a little MORE comfortable than the Pro and still have plenty of ankle support. Very comfortable, which is rare for a person with a size 8 width 5E foot. Highly recommended.
