Trail Shoes

Normally 6.5 in sneakers, but I purchased 6 wide in this and still slightly big where my heels want to slip out if I shoelace loosely. Wide doesn’t feel like wide to me but normal width and they fit me. I have small wide feet. The bottoms are hard and not cushioned like other people have commented. Since they are trail shoes, I can see why the bottoms are rigid. Nothing some insoles can’t fix. I like the style/look of them. 4 stars bc the sizing is a bit off and no cushion, overall good.

Bought these Merrills for hiking trip in Sedona AZ. They were durable and provided really good stability & traction on the trails. Very comfortable too which was extremely important. Excellent price too!! Highly recommend these shoes for hiking!

I bought these for an upcoming hiking trip. So far I have worn them locally on hilly walks, and they are stable and comfortable, with good traction. I'm happy with the neutral color that will work well with dark or light colored hiking clothes.

Nice traction and support

I bought these shoes before a hiking trip out west. These were a very good investment. Great traction. Very comfortable. Stylish. We had to cross a creek several times and they did great being slightly wet at times. (I sprayed them with a water repellent prior to the trip) My socks never even got damp.

Wrong Shoe

I originally ordered these because of the color and didn’t actually look to see if they were men’s or women’s. That’s what I get for not wearing my readers. So sadly they had to go back because they were for my husband. I did exchange them for men’s and my husband loves the new pair. He finds them very comfortable and they hold up well for work.

Right out of the box went out for a walk, plenty of toe space, true size 6 1/2. Have a bad knee and I was having issues. This was a great purchase. Wish could have more colors I would get another pair.
