Keen Jasper Hiking Shoe - Women's

I bought these shoes for a four week trip to Italy. They were perfect-hiking in the Dolomites and cobblestones streets in Tuscany. I did switch to my traditional Keens for our hike/swim combo in Puglia, but everywhere else these were my main shoes. They held up well and looked cute throughout the trip. I’m a middle school teacher and I’m still wearing the same shoes while I’m on my feet all day. I have a narrow heel and like room for my toes to move, which is why I like Keens so much.

This shoe has a super cushioned sole. It's like walking through sand at all times. I hate it. I love the look and the quality is good. The fit is great. I still hate it. I will not buy any Keen sneaker because they all have a soft squishy bottom that absorbs energy and makes you work twice as hard to move forward.

Bought this shoe for the purpose of walking around in a city while on vacation hoping for a nice balance of casual and hiking-suitable footwear. These shoes are not rugged/stiff enough for hiking so I worry about durability and my foot slides in the shoe which would make for a very uncomfortable hike down. These also have almost no support. While it is a nice wide toe box, there's is no arch/ankle support and I feel my arch collapsing as I put my weight on my foot, insole is more like memory foam which is comfy but hurts up the chain. Also, the suede top makes it so that the shoe is neither waterproof (another negative for hiking use) nor breathable. For an everyday walking shoe I would've liked a bit more breathability but there is none. And it's not waterproof so what's even the point. Would not recommend this as a hybrid casual/hiking shoe.

I absolutely love them. My new go tos and they are so comfortable.

I loved these initially, but the threads are already coming loose in multiple places along the tongue and sole after less than a month of casual wear. Not ideal because I thought they’d last much longer for the price.
