Very cute shoe with questionable quality
I really wanted to love these shoes. They’re cute and functional. I got them for a 3 month trip through mountains and cities. Unfortunately way before the trip has even started , I was wearing the shoes around the city and the rubber is already starting to peel off from the toe box. Mind you I’ve only been walking through the neighborhood, so I haven’t even done anything strenuous yet. Right now it’s not impacting the functionality (yet), but I’m disappointed in quality given it’s been less than 2 months of wear. I’m not sure it will hold up on my 3 month trip this summer.

Feet Heaven!

Finally found a brand of shoes that make my feet feel like walking on clouds. So much so that I have purchased seven different pairs of keen shoes. As an FYI I already had 4 pairs of their sandals.

Not as versatile as hoped
I purchased these jasper zionics in hopes that it would help consolidate my packing for a few months of travel (originally I had my sneakers for street wear and hiking shoes for outer terrain activities). The shoe, as most describe, is incredibly comfortable and indeed very trendy. However, when it comes down to utility beyond a fashion statement it surprisingly did not stand the durability test. Just 3 months after purchase and barely 25 miles of hiking later and they’re sort of falling apart/ the upper rubber sole has torn off along with the back piece. Unfortunately these are probably not useful for streetwear given how raggedy they’ve become and not useful for hiking again in given the risk of tripping on the loose rubber parts (which happened too often during a 5 mile summit up a canyon with my 15 kg pack- poor timing!).
So, if you’re planning on wearing these exclusively for streetwear than I recommend- beyond that don’t be tricked into thinking that there’s multi use purpose like I did.

Comfy out of the box
This is the first Keen I’ve purchased that didn’t have the obviously big toe box but they still have a nice roomy feel in the front. Don’t let that narrow look fool you. I also debated on getting a different pair but the mixed reviews on size steered me this way and I’m glad I chose these. Fit just like my current Keens-true to size, no guesswork.

So cute and comfortable. Might have to purchase in multiple colors. Also have jaspers but those are my new go to. I wish keen sold these srunchy laces in all colors as stand alone accessories so you could customize and mix n match with whatever lace color you wanted.

Good traction, fuzzy suede is horrible
I really love how these shoes feel outside - I personally have experienced great traction, feeling very secure and sure footed even in muddy and slick conditions. Something that bothers me is I got one of the pairs with very fuzzy furry suede and it’s really terrible to take care of them. Anytime I step on trail, I’m getting moss, twigs, leaves, grass, etc and even one time a huge Yellowjacket tangled into the fluff. And it’s pretty impossible to get all that stuff off the shoes, with many tools and brushes I’ve struggled. Keen was not helpful when I reached out for suggestions and help about how to keep these shoes from becoming filthy every single time I wear them, and I got generic and unhelpful answers. I would never buy one of those fuzzy pairs again, but would be interested in the flat untextured suede pairs.

Wanted to love
Wore these almost every day on a month long trip to Japan. They were super comfortable out of the box, but within two weeks of city walking and a few short hikes they started to fall apart. The rubber on the toes is peeling and the soles are coming apart on the heels. The black dye from the tongue and/or stitching also bled onto the suede after they got a little wet. I really wanted to love these shoes, but they’re just not durable enough to justify the price.

Super comfy!

I have very wide feet and was hoping for something roomier and perfect for walking. I've walked at least a few miles in them already and haven't had any pain! I wish the toe box was just slighltyyy wider but compared to other shoe brands these are so comfortable and accommodating. I've also gotten compliments on them and the pink shoelaces are a nice touch. It also came with black laces if you wanted to switch them out.
