[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have other Journee brand heels in both size 8 and 9 that fit wonderfully. These particular shoes I would have to buy an in size 11 because of how insanely painful and tight the 9M were. I think the company assumes that 1 &1/2 -2 inches of unusable space created by the pointy toe count towards the actual foot size. These shoes were clearly designed by AI or some other non functioning brain that can’t understand feet aren’t shaped like this shoe and therefore there is some unusable space that has to be accounted for when they make the sizing 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Nice Value Pumps

I purchased these pumps in the metallic silver color to use for my formal events. I was fortunate to find them on sale so they were a great value. I found the color to be a pleasing matte silver color, not too shiny, so they should go well with most of my full length gowns and my matte silver clutch. They’re a pretty basic pump style, nothing fancy or unique. I found them fairly comfortable with a padded insole. The heel height is just right for formal wear— not too high but high enough to be elegant. The other thing to note is that the bottom soles are smooth and not too rubbery – although they’re not leather soles or true dance shoes, I think they may still be slippery enough fir social dancing (as opposed to other shoes that might have a more grippy sole.) I normally wear a size 8 in most shoes but in this style I found the size 8 1/2 to be more comfortable. I have a narrow foot, and these are a tiny bit wide through the arch area but not enough to gape on my foot. I’m not sure how long the finish will hold up since they are man-made and have a metallic coating, but they are fine for occasional use.

Cute But Tight Fit

These pumps are very cute but run narrow at the toes. I wear an 8, ordered an 8 and I am not able to wear for more than a couple of minutes. Worried if I size up they would be too big.

Affordable Pump

An affordable nice looking pump. This pump is man-made material, but has a nice look. I chose the navy blue and it was not a dark navy. For the price point this is a very nice shaped pump. Seems like it will hold up well with wear. This is my first time trying this brand and I would be happy finding others in the future.
