Dr. Scholl's Original Pescura Sandal

They just arrived today and so far, they feel exactly like the pair that I had in the 70s! I haven’t walked too far in them yet but so far they are bringing back that nostalgic feeling. Thank you for restoring them to their former glory (I just hate that I wasted so much money in the intervening years periodically buying them in the hopes that they’d be equally good). Please don’t ever stop making them again (a sale on them at some point would be much appreciated because the price is pretty steep).

One question. Where is the old bump? I feel that these shoes were fraudulently advertised. There is a bump but it is much flatter than my Dr. Scholl's from the 70's & 80's. Size, Workmanship and Style are excellent. But I am very disappointed that these are NOT exactly like the originals.

The size are correct they do not run or small. Love the style wish they would do a leopard print make 1950s style. I have wide feet but you could adjust them. The material on the top is great the shoe is not cheap. But the shoe is just too heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Dr. Scholl's Pescura sandals are super cute for spring and summer. The sizing comes in whole sizes, not half. I normally wear 6.5 and ordered a size 6 which fit perfectly. The straps are adjustable and seem durable. Which is important because the base of the shoe is a solid wood type heavy material with no give or bend. Walking feels a bit like you might lose the shoe if you go too quickly and is an adjustment in comfort. When first putting them on, the stiff sole feels good and as someone who wears custom inserts, I am used to contour. However, walking around and standing in them a bit becomes uncomfortable because there is no bend or cushion. I am not used to it yet. I think it will require a few extended wears to get used to.

Loved these shoes when I was a teenager and I love them now!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually remember these sandals from when I was a child.I always wanted a pair and I am happy to say that they are amazingly comfortable. The sandals are also adjustable so if your feet are narrow or wide they will fit you. These sandals are so cute and fashionable that you can wear them anywhere and they go with jeans or a dress so they are perfect for anywhere. .All in all this is a great sandal.

Although the toe bump is not quite as extreme in the old originals, I found it good enough to get a good grip and keep these comfortably on my feet. Due to inflexible soles these take a little getting used to, esp if you’re used to wearing soft shoes. They look great and my usual size fits well. The strap is comfy which wasn’t always true with 1989s Scholls exercise sandals, that sometimes rubbed pretty badly. I got navy, which is a great versatile color, essentially a neutral shade for summer as these go great with denim, white or tan/ beige clothes.
