I ordered these to wear when I work in my garden. I used to wear sandals and usually wear Birkenstocks. I needed something that was shoe type and covered my toes. I ordered a half size over my usual size because I wear a 10.5 and half sizes usually stop at size 10. I should have ordered a size 10 because these are a generous size 11. I can wear thick socks. These are going to be good gardening shoes.
