Disappointing

Vionic was my favorite show for several years, until 3-4 years ago. They stopped carrying fashionable styles that looked fantastic AND had high quality comfort. These days the shoes seem to be more casual in style, and are SIGNIFICANTLY LESS COMFORTABLE than before. They also seem to run small, and have a huge arch insert. This style is OK looking, and as you can see from the photo, the footbed is much too long. There’s a minimum of 1/2” extra space at the top, and frankly, I think it looks odd. Also, for a gold sandal (which I think by default should be fancy) these are rather clunky and casual looking with the thick cork sole. The upper would have looked much better on a thinner sole, either with the same color (or perhaps a black) footbed.

Vivonic is my favorite shoe. Best arch support for sandals. This one had a lip on the edges which is different than all the others. It hits my toes weird.
