Very comfortable except for the first couple wears. I had to add heel liners under the upper part for a few wears.The grip was sufficient as I don't expect to be wearing this on ice.vveey breathable and appears to be durable. I've only had it for a month and wore it almost daily on a trip. I usually wear a 10 in Toms but the 9.5 fit perfectly

I love the Tom's Alpargata Shoe. I have blue, red, white, grey and black ones. I plan to buy more colors. This is a very comfortable, casual shoe that looks great with pants, skirts and dresses.
