The Slip In in feature makes the shoe too tight!I'

I've been wearing sketchers for years, especially love the GO Walk series, however, not happy with this one. The Slip In feature in the in the back of shoe (its like a rigid pad) makes the shoe too tight! Its eating probably 1/4' space, which causes the foot getting pushed too far towards the front, and its too tight at the toes.
Never had experienced with Skechers, and I own both "on the go" and Slip in. This combo doesn't work :(

I've been a nurse for > 47 years. These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. Wish they were in other colors also.

They run 1/2 size bigger. Super comfy but a bit narrow to me especially if you have higher arched feet.

So comfortable and I love the ability to slip them on. I use 8 or 8 1/2 but the 8 was too small.
