Slightly Inaccurate Description
I was looking for a Skechers slip in shoe to wear to PT for knee surgery. Tie shoes are difficult with a full leg brace and crutches, and the description said they were “slip-on with elastic laces”. I searched on the app for “slip ins” specifically and these came up. Upon arrival, I found that they are regular tie laces, not elastic, and do not have the Skechers slip in back. There is no bow tie visible in the photos on the app. They are nice looking shoes and seem comfy upon first try on, but will be impractical for quick on & off at PT. I did an online chat on the app to inquire if elastic laces are available from DSW to exchange for the regular laces. The customer service agent said they sometimes have them available, but not presently. It seems odd that a shoe company doesn’t sell laces all the time. I tried to search on the app but no “shoe laces” could be found. Hmmm. For the inconvenience, I received a small credit on my charge card, which was appreciated, but I will have to fight with the regular tie laces until I can have elastic laces delivered. I asked that the inaccurate description be corrected.
Yes, I recommend this product.
