    Usually wide width works perfect for me. These seemed wide but the straps were not made to accommodate that. So I couldn’t even buckle around my ankle. Even when I placed foot mold back in shoe and buckled the space for an ankle was tiny. Sadly will have to return.

    Chunky strappy sandal

    I got these to expand my black sandal options. Love the leather - expect it to soften with wear. The foot bed is supportive and molded to the foot (little like Birks) with no pressure points. True to size. I wear a 7.5 mostly, a 7 in sandals at times, and an 8 in sneakers. 7.5 fits perfectly in these. The only issue is anticipate is they may run warm in hot southern summers. The thick straps and molded footed may reduce airflow.

    I’ve only worn these once and the toe area needs to be broken in still. Hopefully they will feel more comfortable with each wear.
