Cheaply made
I just received these sneakers yesterday. Had to order online because the store seems to not carry sneakers like they used to. I tried on one shoe and couldn’t believe how cheaply made it is! The tongue is narrow and barely holding on when you lift it. . It is so low around the ankle that it has no support whatsoever. Very uncomfortable all around. Plus I ordered the solid black with white soles and I received black and pink specs everywhere! I’m very disappointed with this order. I ordered a pair in the gardenia color in early spring and they are perfectly well made. So now I have to return these. According to some reviews it seems that Ryka is slacking on quality of their sneakers. That’s a big disappointment.

Not a Fan of Thick Chunky Soles
I'm a big fan of Ryka shoes and I own a few pairs. However, I've been looking for a replacement for a pair of training (walking) shoes I bought several years ago and I've not yet found a comparable pair. The Skylift Walking Sneaker is close, but I really don't like the look or feel of the thick chunky soles! You can compare the sole thickness and height to my old pair in the photos. I like the soles of the knit shoes Ryka makes like the Echo, but I wanted a shoe that ties and has more side support. This shoe has good arch support and stability, but I really don't like the styling of the sole.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Beautiful shoes!
Beautiful shoes.. with just the right amount of bling!
Only problem is the toes seem defective because you can see the adhesive all around the edge of each toe on both shoes. Plus the sole that comes from the bottom to each toe on the top looks smushed and not right.
On top of the defect, they're a bit small -as in short on the toe end.
For both of these reasons I sent them back for a refund.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Too short, order up!

These sneakers run short.
Get a pair 1/2 size up or your toes will be all the way to the top of the shoe and be very uncomfortable

worthless
I would say the "lift" part of 'Skylift' is all in the heels of these shoes. I made the mistake of wearing these to work. By lunchtime, my toes and the balls of my feet felt broken. If I could have finished my shift in stocking feet, I would have. There is really just no cushioning in these shoes anyway.
These shoes are for women for whom walking up and down the grocery aisles is considered "getting exercise for the day". These shoes are NOT for women who actually WORK at the grocery store, who stand and walk. All. Day.
Any WHY? Why do today's shoes all have to be made of mesh? Ryka, women need to wear their shoes OUTSIDE of the gym. Outside, where there are puddles and slush and temperatures get cold. I still need a good walking shoe to walk OUTSIDE. Just once, I would like to be able to carry bags of groceries out for a customer on a wet day without having to endure the rest of my shift with wet feet. I have to walk the dog every day. Mesh shoes are worthless! Don't even think about walking across that dewy grass. Forget puddles. And your feet are going to get cold when the wind blows through that mesh at 50 degrees. Good luck this winter in the snow and sub-zero temps.

Too snug fit.
The only real draw back is that this pair of Rykas seems to have a narrower toe box and the old pain in my big toe is returning. The previous 2 styles fit perfectly and solved my foot issues of toe pain and foot cramps. Those styles have apparently been discontinued. At least I couldn't find them again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great fit for me

Nice looking sneaker and great fit for me. I gave four stars because of one issue: The tongue on the right shoe is weirdly short, barely able to lace over it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Comfortable Shoes

Slightly lighter-weight than most shoes, which my arthritic feet appreciated. Comfortable and the wide width is roomy. I bought the navy with the blue. Perfectly understated. Very nice shoes.
Yes, I recommend this product.
