Cute but clunky

I got the multi-color and I love the colors: pink, yellow and turquoise. These are heavy and clunky. I expected this with the thick lug sole but the 3 hook & loop straps are also thick and wide. When they are fastened the ankle strap and the strap across the top of my foot almost overlap when I pull them snug. Not a deal breaker but it looks a little weird. I don’t have narrow feet, but if you do this may be an issue. They fit true to size - my usual size 7 fits fine. The 3rd hook & loop strap across the toes makes them fully adjustable. They are comfortable. Ninety Union is one of my favorite brands. I prefer their Wonder Wedge sandal which is similar to this style.
