[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad to see more outdoor basketball shoes being made. The price point made this a no brainer for me since I don’t have access to an indoor court. Shoes are sturdy but light. The mesh in the toe box helps a lot with the breathability but since it’s the thinnest part of the shoe, I’d say that may be the weakest part. What surprised me most is the ankle support, especially for a low top shoe! I wasn’t expecting all the cushion but it definitely makes me feel secure. The design in the heel was interesting for me since it’s the bulkiest part and you can feel that’s where most of the weight is held. Maybe I’m just used to indoor shoes where the weight is evenly distributed but I’m hopeful the ankle support and cushion will help me keep my feet planted.

Cool shoes, but made for warmer weather.

Not bad for the price! These shoes are lightweight, but run a little big. Also, the net on the shoe is somewhat see through. I can see my son's socks through the shoes. I would not recommend wearing these in the rain or snow. The design is awesome and my kid says they are comfortable.

Great shoes for on and off the court

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike S.T. Dynamite are a nice pair of shoes. They are made for basketball, but do well for casual wear as well. The black-on-black colorway may seem basic, but the sparky patterns help them stand out and will surely excite the kids. The upper mesh is breathable and lightweight for additional comfort. The rubber soles have multidirectional treads so you keep your traction on both dry and wet surfaces - there’s even a “zig-zag” pattern for extra style points. I’ve been using these to run errands in, and they are so comfortable to wear. There’s really not much else to say. The Nike S.T Dynamite is perfect whether or not you’re on the court.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My niece loves the Nike S.T. Dynamite so much, as soon as she see it the design caught her eyes. In her words, the spikes reminds her of the sun as it rises outside her window in the morning, which she looks forward too everyday. It fills her with glee and excitement as she gets to see her friends and also practice gymnastics. The sun rays as she calls it also encourages her to rise above anything that would keep her down. The S.T. Dynamite is comfortable for her and fits well on her feet. The sneaker conforms to her feet as she practices her gymnastics routines around the house and yard. The breathe ability from the material helps to keep sweat and moisture to a minimum as she does her routines. The grip on the bottom of the sole helps her with traction to stick her landing as she does her routines.

Dynamite On Your Feet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not expect much out of these shoes because they were lacking in a bunch of modern shoe tech. However, they went beyond my expectations! First off, fit/lockdown for these was probably the highlight of the whole shoe. My foot felt secure and there was little to no slippage as I went about playing on mostly outdoor courts. Traction is tried and true herringbone pattern. It's not fancy, but it's one of the best in terms of performance. No slipping excessively. I was able to make dynamic movements. Cushion is where these shoes were held back a little. Nothing beats "air" and these could have benefited from some placement of something like zoom air. However, the foam used was plush and felt good on feet. My feet never felt like they hurt at all. Aesthetics are definitely a highlight. My plain black pair looked awesome because of the dynamic triangle patterns. Cool looking shoe for sure.

S.T. Dynamite - Blackout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having these shoes tested in a basketball practice and just playing a game at home. I will start with what I would recommend for improvements. 1. Being a kids shoe, and knowing how important it is to have good arch support for growing children. And having a kid who plays year round tournament basketball, who grew a ton in a year, and having plantar fasciitis the insoles in these shoes are horrible. I would pay more for another basketball shoe with better insoles. We do buy insoles that are made for sports, but our Kobes and JA’s my son will not change out those insoles. 2. For me, the shoes were wide as I have narrow feet. They did tighten but still loose. I prefer shoes that are more fitted like an air max. But my boys and husband all have wider feet and would prefer this fit. So for me… they were wide but I understand it may be a good fit for others. 3. The mesh is very nice and aerates but I do think they have more wear and tear for kids like mine who play multiple games and practices a week. The color I like but maybe having one of those accent pieces being gold or silver would be fun. 4. Adding as these are kids shoes and my 15 yr old son made this comment. I add this because I am sure other kids will say something similar. I told him what the shoes are called: S.T, Dynamite, and he said so S.T.D’s …. While I laughed, kids in high school have more than enough classes talking about that stuff. So take this feedback however you like…. 🤣 What I liked - To the point above I do like the black colors and different textures. I would have liked maybe some silver or gold accents. But overall good looking shoe, they were light weight and easy to run in. I would wear them for working out after getting better insoles. For jumping and shooting, having lightweight shoes is important. In the beginning I was wondering why the outside of the shoe had a wider sole towards the outside of the shoe towards the top; but found the purpose to help with the grip on the floor as you pivot and move. The grip was great and the shoe stuck to the floor. For those having to run 17’s that is very helpful, sliding while running lines is not fun. I did get compliments as they are an overall good looking shoe. For a basketball shoe since most kids wear a low, I did not mind they sat higher than other lows. I like a good mid for ankle protection but these shoes for those who wear ankle braces, allowed the room and still fit comfortably when someone wears ankle brace while playing sports. The shoe laces I liked, they didn’t come undone and stayed in place. Some shoe laces always come undone… and it makes me insane to watch a kid in a game keep tying their shoe or myself… Depending on the costs, I am not sure how expensive they will be but a good option for kids. I saw these are similar or the kids version of the S.T. chargers (cade Cunningham shoes) which is a show that my son was looking at. Depending on those insoles may be a good fit for my son. As he likes his JAs, Kobes, and KDs and has wider feet.

SNEAKER SEARCH

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finding shoes for my son can be an adventure. When I got these, I wasn't sure if he would even like them. According to him, the shoe feels good overall on his foot, it is flexible and allows his foot to move. He thinks they're nice because of the color. I got them in black because they're versatile and can be worn with a lot of his clothing. He really likes the zig zag design elements of the shoe because it makes it more interesting than a regular pair of black sneakers. The fabric is smooth and airy allowing his feet to breathe, especially when running and playing each day. His favorite part of the shoe is the black color and the logo with the explosion on the tongue of the shoe. If he could change anything, he would make the shoe a little looser over the top middle of his feet so it doesn't squish/rub the top of his feet so much.
