Bring back the 6's please.
Wow, after how much I loved the 6's, these are terrible. They look like a grandpa shoe. They aren't comfortable like the 6's. The tongue was a good idea but I am so used to the bootie now. The front tongue is too high and the back is too high. It rubs. The pull tab at the back makes no sense.

Cool and comfy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very comfortable shoe. These shoes are super versatile, I wear them as a casual everyday shoe but also when I occasionally lift weights this is my go to shoe. The flat sole makes you feel very grounded and stable. I also love the variety of details and texture on the all black color way, such a cool looking shoe.

Airy and stretchy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel that the shoes run true to size. They’re very comfortable and airy. It’s like you’re walking on air or a cloud pillow like they’re very comfortable to walk around and either go to the gym or if you’re out in the city doing errands.
The design is well crafted. It’s very spacious for someone who has a wide feet so it’s not tight on the toes and it gives you that extra space and stretch you need if you wanted to wear like a double sock.
The fabric is very breathable and stretchy and it seems as if they’re like kind of waterproof where that your feet won’t get hot because of how the fabric is designed to like come back the sweat if you did decide to work out in these.
Overall, I love the shoe it’s very comfortable stretchy breathable and they feel like you’re walking on a cloud. I’m very attracted to the design in the material. It’s very high-quality so that you’ll get a good last out of them whether you’re using them for workout or for running errands all day, they’re very comfortable. I don’t think I will change anything about the Shoe maybe bring more colors in for women. I love pink. I would love to see these in more colors but overall well crafted design and very comfortable for my busy lifestyle.

Solid Trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good shoes for running or training. They fit true to size, have a thick sole, and a breathable mesh upper. I haven’t quite broken them in yet and the shoes are a little stiff, but I feel like they’ll get more comfortable with time. They have a good amount of support for running or hiking and definitely feel very sturdy. One thing I find strange is that the laces are really short.. I wish they were just a little longer so that I could double knot them. The design is relatively basic, but these are a good pair to keep on hand. I plan to bring mine camping later this summer for riverside hikes and walks.

nice shoe, odd color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these shoes work well for weight lifting. they have a nice fit on the heel where i don't slip at all, they are snug in the midfoot, and there is room in the toe box. They work well for leg day and upper body day. The major downside with these shoes is the color way - it gives server shoes. Black on black is not a great look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Free Metcon 7 are very durable, comfortable and easy to wear. They are soft to touch and can be worn in all weather. The design is aligned to the Nike brand and is designed for easy use and easy handling. The fabric is designed to be breathable and lightweight. I would not change anything about the design, the sneaker is made perfectly.

Best Overall Trainers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd pair of Metcons. I love these shoes for training. Over the years I feel like the shoes design and fit have dramatically changed over the years for the better. This new pair of Free Metcon 7s have a classic design and wider toe box than typical Nike training shoes. Plenty of room for your toes to spread and feet to stay flat to the floor for weight training. I ordered a half size up than my usual size, and I could’ve gotten my regular size in these with these since they’re more roomy than previous models I’ve owned. The design is simple, in a good way. The materials of the shoe make it breathable.
What I love the most about these shoes are that they’re comfortable enough to wear as daily casual shoes and you can train in them. They’re durable too. I’ve mostly worn them for HIIT workouts, weightlifting, and cardio warmups on the treadmill. I’ve also worn them for full work days (with lots of walking). My feet weren’t hot or tired. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a shoe they can use for multiple things.

Flexible and Stable. Versatile and Reliable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Free Metcon 7 shoes are comfortable and lightweight while still providing the stability and support needed for HIIT workouts and strength training. At 6'2" 215 lbs, the shoes felt grounded during lifts like squats and deadlifts, yet surprisingly nimble during exercises like box jumps and burpees. They run slightly big and, like most Nike Free shoes, they were ready for use right out of the box with no break in required.
I really like the Metcon branding on the tongue and heel grabs. I just wish there was a bigger call out to the Swoosh. There are several, but they’re small and hardly noticeable on the Triple Black colorway. Another great design is how the tongue is sewn directly to the upper about halfway up. It gives the shoes a lockdown effect with a sock-like feel.
What stood out most was their versatility in handling different types of training. They felt adaptive during agility workouts and stable under loads while weightlifting. They even look great for everyday wear.
Overall, the Metcon 7s feel and look as good as they perform. If you’re wanting versatility and a shoe that can do it all, these are them. I recommend them for active individuals at any stage in their fitness journey. Thank you, Nike, for letting me test and review the Nike Free Metcon 7 shoes!
