Great Shoe, but It’s Not Pewter Metallic
Be warned: Pewter Metallic Says Silver on the Box. Spoiler alert: they really aren’t silver either. I ordered these as an exact replacement of my Naturalizer Pewter Metallic shoes. (The soles are very soft, which makes them very comfortable, but it does affect their long term wear … and wear them I did! I ordered Pewter Metallic, but when the box arrived it said “silver.” (There is no silver on the website product description and these shoes do match the picture on the website.) The shoes sent are neither silver nor pewter metallic: they are more a rose gold. DSW has OUTSTANDING customer service, so of course they offered an apology, and an immediate return or replacement. I was going out of town, and with a size 12W it’s not like I can pop into any shoe store and find something appropriate. Besides, they ARE a fun shoe, and that’s what I was looking for, so I kept them. These are extremely comfortable, as you would expect with a Naturalizer shoe: seriously cloud like. The color metallic color wears extremely well. Overall, a great shoe, but it neither pewter nor silver.
