Merrell World Legend 2 Slip-On - Men's

I wear many shoes from this compan. But purchasing online is entirely too painful. Sizes are wildly inconsistent. After this purchase Im close to just giving up on the branb entirely. Have recieved other products inthe past few years as gifts... wife family and had them returned because of sizing, ordered exchanges kept what i recieved because I felt bad inconveniencing somebody who was buying me a gift but then asking them to return them yrt again yadda ... this purchase I returned once because of size, next size still to large and then tried to exchange again for 8.5 should fit.. never needed 8.5 before but whatever. I went to the process and it only allowed me to return. I assumed size wasnt available. I get another ad i click and there it is 8.5 are available. Whatever, ....

Shoes are well made, sturdy, comfortable, and attractive. What’s not to like? Well, pricier than I had expected. Primary complaint is that you (Merril) went overboard to upgrade your earlier (~6-7 years ago) rendition of these shoes (which I loved). The current shoe is much heavier, taller and actually less comfortable than the prior model (which felt rather like a sturdy, comfortable slipper even when worn on long walks) and yet still were dressy enough for casual get-togethers, etc. Nuff said.

I am a big fan of Merrell shoes having owned various Moab versions for years. I am not enjoying the World Legend 2 Moc, however, because the available size doesn’t quite work for me. I generally wear a size 12.5, so I assumed the size 12 would be too small, but the size 13 I ordered is too big. Shoe size seems to vary with manufacturer and style so maybe the 12 would have fit fine with this shoe.

The shoes are comfortable and looks decent. I wish there weren’t white stitches on the top.

These Merrill mocs are semi-dressy and comfortable with good traction.

It took a little while but I have adjusted to these Merrells and they are likely to become my most often used shoe. My last Merrells were easier to slip in to. I'm using a shoe horn for these. And the foot bed seems different than my last Merrells -- the heel seems a bit lower. But still, overall, I'm satisfied with these and will wear them until they're worn out!

Love this shoes. 2nd pair I’ve owned. Very good support. Very comfortable.
