Cute Espadrille but Scratchy Edges!!

I got these to wear with an Easter dress, and they’re super cute. However, I wish the top edges around the top of the foot weren’t so scratchy. I would definitely get cuts wearing these. I couldn’t even test wear them around the house they were so uncomfortable. Such a shame bc they’re adorable and the insole is actually very supportive. Just there should be lining around the edges like there is under the strap so the denim-like material edges weren’t directly rubbing against your foot. So bummed! :(
