Classy, comfortable, versatile!
First let me answer the question everyone is asking: the heel is 2" from the top of the insole to the floor - perfect height to go with everything from jeans to party dresses. And now a note on the color - the web photo doesn't show it well. The heel, two toe straps and the ankle band are a true gold color. The T-strap, and one of the toe bands, is decorated with hundreds of microscopic reflective dots on a gold background. It's slightly more blingy than my typical sandal style, but it's a nice, balanced contrast to all the gold on the rest of the show, and won't interfere with versatility. I like these sandals a lot - so why only 4 stars? I wear size 5.5W, rarely available, so 6M is my only hope. These sandals will have to work because I like them too much to return them - the width is sufficient, but they hang past my toes and heel by about half an inch. If you don't have chubby feet, you'll give them 5 starts for sure!
