Strap on the Left Shoe Was Loose...Twice

I had wonderful success with the Lanette leopard print shoe I bought last year and thought I'd try another pair. I had to seek an exchange of this brown Lanette pump because the left strap was stretched such that it did not hug my foot as it should. This unadjustable strap had in excess of 1-inch play where I could fit my finger under the strap and not touch the top of my foot at all. Excited about the receipt of the new pair in the mail, I quickly opened the box only to have the very same issue with the second pair - an excessively loose strap. Again, the second strap was so long I could fit a finger under it and still have a lot of room under the strap. Devastated, I returned the second pair outright. I refuse to order a third pair. What a shame, the color and height of the shoe makes them stylish and comfortable. The quality control makes them trash.

Beautiful shoe but…..

This pump is beautiful color, comfortable, and stylish. My only complaint is I’ve only worn them once (3 hours) and the inside footbed lining unglued as I took them off. For the price I paid plus a trip to shoe repair I don’t think it’s worth it.

I am normally a 7.5 but I took a chance on size 8 because the 7.5 was sold out. It is an EXTREMELY comfortable shoe. Most of the time, I don't love high heeled shoes, but I do wear the most comfortable ones I can find, 5x/week. It is hard to find comfortable mid-height (not too high) shoes that are classy and look great at the office. As with any pointy toe heels, you must add a pad inside the shoe under the ball (front part) of your foot, IF you do not want your feet to slide forward and squish into the point with every step (which causes the toe pain you read about in other reviews). I needed a shoe this color and loved the texture. They are great quality (strong leather) and durable. My advice would be to buy the proper size (not too small) so if you can wear two sizes (7.5/8) then buy the larger of the two. And always, always, always add a pad under the ball of your foot if the shoe has a heel 1" or higher, they're minimal cost and will help you love your shoes even more.
