One of the best boots I've worn
I think I may have found my new boot. I've worn New Balance boots for years. These beat them by miles.

Two thumbs up!

These boots are comfortable right out of the box. I really appreciate the wide toe box. They run true to size. The price was good as well with the sale.

Worthy of the name- and orthodic friendly.

These boots live up to the Targhee name in every way. They have given me 2 years of hiking with comfort, stability, and great traction. I'm amazed at the durability- even the cloth lace eyelets have held up and not a single one has ripped on me (this was my absolute #1 complaint with previous Keen boots- flimsy cloth lace holders/eyelets).
Highly recommended.

Awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these as a gift for my husband who struggles to find comfortable hiking shoes. He’s loved these from the moment he tried them on. After a few hikes he likes them even more! We are both sold on Keen shoes!

Use the Berluti knot with these - or any shoe
20 days ago
I've been using Keen boots as my daily shoe for ages, replacing then when the soles (pre-Targus IV) started coming off. No longer a problem - for a while I feared Keen would lose that rich source of repeat business.
Now there's a different problem - the shoelace wear makes them untie often due to the surface fuzz wearing off. That has a fix - search YouTube videos for |Berluti knot hiker| and you'll find how to tie that on a Keen shoe. |berluti knot anger management| might bring you to better videos. The knot has never come undone until I want it undone to take the shoes off. I wish I learned it 50 years ago!
I'm ordering a new pair today - the old ones are still in great shape, but I want to used them in bogs and other soggy places.

Awesome work boot

This is my second pair. The first pair lasted two years of everyday use on the construction site. These boots are way more comfortable than anything that Red Wing has produced. They’re the most comfortable boot right out of the box and your feet will thank you! I love these boots and will continue to buy them for the rest of my life.

Comfy but NOT waterproof
The insoles aren’t great. The K20 insole should be standard. These boots are not waterproof. The dew soaked through this morning while birding for a couple of hours. Very annoying.
