So cute, but they almost rubbed my foot raw

I have a pair of KS86 that I absolutely love and I ended up with those because I went to the store looking for hiking shoes and tried the Hightrails on in multiple sizes, multiple shoes and no matter the size, they rubbed my foot so badly that I would have had a blister from walking more than a few feet. Either they rubbed along the tongue, or the heel, no matter what size I tried. Very disappointing.

Immediate online return, painful rubbing

I've been a huge fan of Keen for years. I've owned a couple pairs of hiking shoes and some sandals that easily lasted 10 years with lots of use and were very comfortable, therefore I thought online ordering would be no problem but I was so wrong.
Painful rubbing of the tongue and both sides of each foot. I don't have any foot issues and my feet are average width. I was so disappointed. So cute, lightweight and waterproof. I thought they'd be just what I was looking for.

Lightweight, but they rub uncomfortably

I really wanted to like these shoes. They are so cute and lightweight and I thought they would be the perfect trail shoe for me for hiking, but no matter what size I tried on, they rubbed uncomfortably when I walked. I tried on multiple pairs in different sizes in the store and either they were too big, but rubbing in the tongue area against the top of my foot, or the right size and rubbing in the heel/achilles area. I ended up buying the KS86 for walking shoes because they were a lot more comfortable, but I'm still on the hunt for the right hiking shoe.

I’ve had these for about 8 months and wear them to work all day, walk and play, jog, and hike. They’re my go-to supportive, well-tractioned, comfortable and super cute shoe…especially with the yellow shoelaces!

Rubbing on heel

These are comfortable right out of the box. I have been wearing them for a few weeks and they are warm and keep my feet dry. not as stiff as boots which works for me.

Great waterproof sneaker

Walked in these shoes all over rainy London for a week. My feet remained dry and didn’t feel overheated, which is common with waterproof footwear.
