Keen Hightrail Hiking Shoe - Men's

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have wide feet and have worn Keens on Kilimanjaro, in the Andes, Rockies and Sierra Nevada, and worn out many pairs on local trails. This year, I bought a pair of these wide Hightrail shoes for a touristy trip to Switzerland and Italy. They were stylish and looked great, even on Lake Como! My adult children commented on how contemporary the are. I liked them so much, I got home and ordered the boots too. So c'mon, make an old guy happy and provide a wide version of these shoes in a black or gray color schemes. They would be perfect for travel and everyday wear. I'll ditch my New Balance shoes for good if you do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I hike about 8 miles a day on average, pavement and dirt. I have three pairs of these and they hold up well no issues whatsoever. It would be nice if they were offered in a darker color so they didn’t show the dirt as much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lemme start by saying I’ve been rocking Keens for years and years for both work and play. These are the first real “sneakers” (soft toe, all fabric, no “safety”) I’ve purchased and they’re comfortable as heck. The asterisk is that, even though the size I wear is a 14 Wide, I wish I had gone a half or a full size up. They’re not really true to size like every leather or safety toe Keen I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had dozens and dozens). Little narrow, little tight.

Good pavement show but 100 percent will have multiple pebbles in your shoe by the end of your trail hike

Love the shoe but I wish it came in a darker color. The Brindle/Birch is a light color and shows the dirt.

Excelente and light weight. Love them and great for working outdoors. They are truly waterproof.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I've had foot problems for most of my life and these shoes are a game changer! I'm buying a second pair!

I purchased these Keen trail shoes to function between Saucony trail runners and Oboz hiking boots. My impression, after 10 miles paved trails and 10 miles hiking trails, is they are fantastic. * Put them on and go. There is no break in period as they are very comfortable out of the box. * My sense was that the lateral side of the collar was higher on the ankle than expected, but well padded and comfortable. Now I don’t notice that anymore. * The sole is a great combination of feel and flex with sufficient protection from stepping on rocks and roots. The toe cap also has adequate protection for a trail shoe. * They have excellent trail grip both up- and down-hill. * I stood in a creek with the toe box completely submerged for a minute and the Keen. Dry technology did its thing keeping my feet dry. * I purchased 11 W to ensure sufficient room in the toe box. I find typical D width far too narrow. * The arch support is minimally adequate, as is typical for most shoes on the US market. I use custom 1/2-length arch insert. Overall, I like the shoes and they are a great balance of sturdiness and comfort.
