Comfy, but ankle support ify
I have been ordering and trying many different types of hiking boots. These were probably the most comfortable pair that I tried, however the ankle support was weak. Almost floppy at the top. If these held their structure through the top, these would have been the winner. Compared to other pairs that I ordered the quality lacked for the price point. Color options weren't my favorite, but comfort, support and style had me over looking. The fit was spot on. Im a true 7. 5 and that is what I ordered. Ultimately I sent them back because I worry about rolling an ankle on a hike, but if this isn't a fear for you, I would recommend

Keen Hiker

I love every Keen Hiker I've had. This one is a bit more "tennis shoe like" in appearance than I expected, but they are very light, and that is important to me as I get older(76 now). Fit well, comfortable, supportive.

Solid trek shoes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new pair of shoes for the trail, and needed something specifically for my right foot's needs. I immediately felt the much needed support my feet needed once I put them on. No break-in period needed. Also, LOVED the ankle support. They haven't experienced the wet yet; hope they hold up the East Coast trails well.

Love Keens
Nod to the mens Durand II waterproof, multiple pairs have taken me many miles. I'm so excited to have another choice with the women's Hightrail. They're wide enough in the toe box and lightweight. They're a fun change! Thank you for creating a feminine boot that works for wide feet!! I'll always love my trusty Durand but the Hightrail has been comfy out of the box and after a six mile. Wore them all week at work and no complaints. Love them enough to but additional pairs in other colors. Keen, thank you for your concenious designs , durability and goals for sustainability!♥️

Comfortable, stable and dry!
I wore my Keen’s for a week of touring Iceland — trekking around waterfalls, glaciers and geysers — and they provided the comfort and stability needed for rocky and wet terrain. Even though I packed other options for city walking, I chose to wear these even while shopping and dining in town — and on my flight home!
With their sturdy ankle support and nice, wide toe bed, my feet were happy and I never felt like I was wearing heavy hiking boots. The light overall weight and running shoe feel in the foot bed make these a great selection for such an adventure! Paired with lightweight wool hiking socks, my feet were always warm (or cool, depending on the weather) and dry — never cold or too warm.

Instantly comfortable and wearable
I've already worn these for my first hike. Right out the door. They were comfortable. It could use a little more support underfoot to make it slightly more comfortable but no complaints here.

Toe area narrower than other Keen boots
These had great ankle support and felt comfy except for the toe area. It was narrower than my usual size 5. 5 Keen boots that have plenty of toe wiggle room. Back they go unfortunately!
