Wide feet and In love with these boots

I have very wide feet and these are comfortable (often wides aren't wide enough). I also have reynaud's syndrome so my toes go numb and become very painful when cold. I've tried to many boots and they still don't stay warm when we are outside with the dogs in the snow and winter for several hours sometimes in 30 degrees and less. I literally put these on and my feet started warming up immediately and never got cold, even in a foot of snow. Well worth the money

Comfy, Warm, Light and Flexible

These are super comfy and really warm - at 9000ft in the Rockies I wear them to go out and to go hiking and I love them. I normally wear a 8.5 in other Kamik shoes (9 in Asolo, 8.5 in Adidas, 9 in Brooks) and I got these boots in a 9 since there were no half sizes. They are a little big but nothing a chunky sock can't fix.

Fantastic winter boots

I had been looking for gray snow boots but didn't like the options I had found as many were made from nylon type material and looked more juvenile than I wanted. Also many gray boots have a white stripe on around the sole which I found distracting. When I saw these Kamiks they were what I was looking for - a beautiful gray (they say they are blue but they are more like a slate gray with some taupe highlights) without a white stripe on the bottom and very sophisticated looking with the leather and slight fur touch. When they arrived I was also impressed with features that I didn't even know they had, such as the metal teeth for the laces end on the lower ankle and then there are one set of holes above that, so you can be laced up lower or go all the way up, it's a nice option I wasnt expecting. In addition, the boots are extremely well made, you can just feel the quality. The soles are very rugged and I feel very assured walking on ice and snow with them. The Canadian maple leaf embossed on the leather on the back is a fun feature. The only criticism is that they are quite stiff but I imagine with wear, the leather will soften. I did order a half size larger than my usual size (I usually a 6 in sneakers and a 6.5 in boots, I ordered a 7 in these) and find them comfortably large enough for thick winter boot socks but not so large to be floppy.
