Comfortable cold weather boot

Purchased these for a recent family trip to the snow. They were a little stiff to start, but wearing them around the house for about an hour broke them in nicely. They held up well in the snow/ice and am looking forward to wearing them should we get any more rain this year.

Hard to find boots that are made in North America at all and to find them around $100 is unheard of.
I bought these because I needed a pair of snow boots that I could slip on easily to go outside with my dogs in a jiffy during wet and snowy weather. They are perfect for that purpose.

I had my eye on these boots for awhile as I thought they were so cute. When I got a DSW gift card for Christmas, I treated myself to the black and white ones and I was right! I have 2 other pairs of Kamik boots in size 8 (Their boots are great and are made in Canada.), but read that these ran small and to size up so I got size 9. They are roomy, but I can wear a thick wool sock, otherwise these would not be good for wearing in the snow. I consider them more of a rain boot and bought them more for that use.
