Not the worst but not the greatest either.
To all their own likes, the ankle parts are a bit higher than I'd usually like but can manage once broken into it.

Nice Quality but Too High for Me
These are a very high quality boot, and I wanted to love them. However, they were just a bit too high and cut into my calf when I walked. I am slim, but do have larger calves than many due to my walking regime every day. This makes them a bit larger than many people. Unfortunately, they are going back.

Favorite boots!
Very comfy! The heel is the perfect height, since I teach and am on my feet a lot. I can wear these all day without getting sore feet! They are easy to dress up or down. The zipper is a little tricky to get up at first, but this doesn't really bother me.
