Good fit sized up

Good fit sized up half size. Wanted hiking style for hilly yard work and ankle support. Remains to be seen if truly waterproof. If they are Ill be happy.

I broke these boots in with a five hour hike and they held up perfectly. I was comfortable and supported the whole time. I highly recommend this brand.

I got these a bit over a month ago with the intention of using them as daily drivers for work. They didn't take long to break in. I haven't had issues with blisters or rubbing. I chose to size up since they don't come in wide and I know the more I'm on my feet the more they settle. These still hurt my toes after just a couple hours sitting before I need to be on my feet for hours.
I bought the waterproofing service in store knowing I intend for all weather wear. The packaging says waterproof and breathable. I have had no trouble with water. They do not breathe whatsoever. I may as well have plastic bags on my feet. Moisture retention is a problem in shoes designed for active wear.
I would return these but rigorous testing requires outdoor wear and returns are not acceptable after outdoor use. I understand the reason for the policy but it's completely impractical.
