RUN - away from these boots
I tried these with thick hiking socks versus my Lowas which are a little tight in the toe box, and while I liked the room in the toe box, the metal hook backs digging into my ankle were no lie. It's not just the hook backs, it's the way the collar is constructed in this particular model. It might be ok for a quick try-on at the store, but there's no way you want to wear these for more than a few minutes.

Comfortable but too high for me
Once I got them on, they seemed comfortable but they were too high for me and bothered the back of my leg. Then they were kind of difficult for me to get off. Had to return.

Very stylish!
Cutest hiking boots ever, love the colors! Unfortunately they didn't feel/fit good. Toe box was too narrow & tight, even with thin socks (i prefer thicker wool socks for hiking). Heels were loose & the slipping rubbed my ankle uncomfortably.

Really comfortable
These are fantastic hiking boots. I bought them to wear when there are a lot of winter and spring puddles. They are very light-weight, comfortable and for me, true to size. They feel like a pair of comfy sneakers.
