Nice Shoe - Questioning The Packaging

Like these shoes—they’re cute and seem comfortable. But am confused with how they arrived. They came in a disheveled box, no branding or markings. No stickers or labels on the shoe itself like you usually see on new shoes. What’s the deal? Are they used? Is this the new norm for DSW?

Unacceptable shipping practice.

One star for how fast they delivered!
I bought this shoes yesterday and today they were delivered. Amazing… NOT! Whenever I place an online order, DSW have been sending the broken boxes from the clearance racks. Sometimes this is ok if the shoes are for myself. But when the shoes are going to be gifted, this practice becomes unacceptable.
Well, the ones I received today, not only the box was destroyed, but the sandals were broken. What is going on? All the discounts and VIP rewards are worthless if I’m constantly needing to exchange whatever I order. What’s the point of ordering online if they are going to use it as an excuse to send their trash? I don’t think I’m going to be buying from this company anymore.
