These can last forever

These sandals, when taken care of, last forever. I recently bought a new pair, but I am still wearing mine from the mid 1990's.

Cute shoes/ poor quality

I love the cute and retro design of these shoes. They are definitely not the easiest to walk long distances in; but that is by ok for me. After only a couple months of moderate wear one of the clasps on my shoe completely broke making the shoes completely unwearable.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not the ORIGINAL Dr. Scholls

These Dr Scholls are Not the original design at all. I wore the original sandals in the 70s and I also had a several pairs in the 90s. The original design had a curve for your toes to grip onto in order to work your calve muscles. The ones you advertise here as, “original” Dr. Scholls are falsely advertised. They are completely flat. Buyer beware!

Thank you for your review of the Dr. Scholl's Original sandal. The current Dr. Scholl's Shoes Exercise Sandals are not exactly the same as the version that was available in the 70's. A different type of wood was used for the earlier models, and there may have been other design elements that are not present in the current version. The metatarsal bump is a feature that was present in the 70's version, but it is not present in the current version. We hope this helps you. Have a great day!

Most UNCOMFORTABLE shoe I've EVER worn

Heavy. Buckle is painful as it poorly placed and the cushioning is not along the edge of the strap where the most pressure and friction is felt. It's just leather digging into your skin. The footbed is poorly designed and not contoured properly. There is no traction for your foot and the soles are like wearing skates on hardwood; I can't even wear them in the bathroom because I will slide like Tom Cruise from the door to the tub if I'm not careful. They are actually painful to wear. The tops of my feet hurt with each step and the bottoms of my feet developed calluses and blisters. I honestly cannot believe that after all the negative reviews pointing out how terrible these shoes are, Dr. Scholl's is STILL selling them. I used to trust a product blindly when I saw their company logo on it, assured that I'd get great quality and satisfaction...not anymore.
