Dr. Scholl's Intrepid Work Sneaker

I've been wearing these shoes for a long time and they perform great in all aspects of my life. They can be used for athletics and work since the logo is subtle (black on black) and the tread is gripping but understated. Used to get them through another retailer but discovered I was wearing the wrong size so could only get the size I needed directly from Dr. Scholl's site. Deal was excellent and so were the shoes. New version has removable insole which was perfect since I'm using orthotics now. I've never had wear problems described by other reviewers but, with my new size and orthotics, the inner heel material takes a bit more beating than the rest of the shoe. Only problem is availability now that I've worn them out and need new ones.

Wanted to wait on the review until my husband wore them all day. He loves the fit, weight and comfort of the shoe. Only problem was the right shoe caused a blister on his right heel. Have to get padded insert to solve that problem.

The shoes are nice, it's a shame they don't work. I bought 3 pairs and the same thing happened to them. I bought a pair for my wife and the same thing happened. They didn't even last a month and they don't even get wet. To say that's why they keep coming off.

I've been buying Scholls for years. This is the first one where the tongue of the shoe is as flimsy as tissue paper, which means it doesn't stay in place when I slip my foot into it. Really annoying.
