The boots themselves were fine. But in what universe is it ok to send a box in this condition? Totally unacceptable

Comfortable But Poor Quality

I bought these shoes in October 2022 and they were unwearable by February 2023. I wore them to work (desk job, not exactly a lot of walking) for a few months and they quickly deteriorated in quality. The cushions/soles on the inside of the boot quickly wore out, shortly followed by the main boot leather becoming detached from the sole. I did not expect these to last forever, but I did expect them to last longer than a couple months.
For reference, I owned a pair of Crown Vintage boots before these and wore them the same amount for over a YEAR before seeing any issues like this. I would not buy these again, and I do not recommend anyone buy them if they plan on wearing them often at all.

I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas. They are perfect. the dark brown looks great with almost everything he wears. The are very comfortable as well.

Glad I purchased these! Part of my commute includes walking from the train to my building. Not a far walk, but these boots are super comfortable. Can dress them down with khakis or jeans.
