Disappointing
I wanted these booties to work. They look good. But they’re just not comfortable. The shaft rubs into my lower shin.

Good fit
I purchased 4 different boots and kept this one for the fit. I have a narrow foot, but wear socks. Its not too bulky. Brown is a little more flat than the pic. Got a 9.5

Flat brown color
There is no dimension to the brown leather color. Cheaper looking soles.

Glad they are waterproof
I have only worn these boots once so it is difficult to review regarding how they wear but so far I like the boots. I bought them in the wide width for the first time after I measured my foot by tracing it on paper and found the size I should be wearing. That made sense because in other boots with the B width my foot starts hurting and going numb after awhile. These booties feel a bit big on my feet but I may not be used to wide width and/or I need to wear thicker socks. Anyway, I like the fact the boots are waterproof (not tested that myself yet) and they look very nice. I will have to wear them a bit more to decide on overall comfort.

Do not last long
I bought these boots in black and they are are very comfortable and cute with soft leather. However, I bought these boots in October and I'm sad to say that by December it looked like I had been wearing them for years, rather than a couple months. I do wear them often, but parts of the heel were already worn through the rubber with it fraying on the back and the leather has serious scuff and wear marks. It did not develop a patina as other leathers have, but instead looks like the leather is wearing off. I don't recommend them.

Classy And Comfy
Great looking bootie and one of the most comfortable I have ever worn. Being water resistant is a huge bonus for wet fall and winter wear.

Comfortable and waterproof
These are great! They are super comfortable and the perfect shade of brown. Imagine my surprise when they arrived with a tag that says they are waterproof!

Extremely comfy - beware of sizing!
About my foot; 6.5EE/EEE Mens, 8.5-9WW+ Women's. 9.75" long by 4" wide, 9.75" ankle circumference. If you tend to ignore when people say a shoe is too big, like I do, you'll want to pay attention for this one! This shoe is very spacious in all directions! I got a size 9WW, could have easily fit a size 8.5WW without any issue, which I can't say for every David Tate shoe. Definitely start with your smaller size if you're between sizes like I am. That said, these are VERY comfortable. Leather is soft, foot bed is cozy, heel is the perfect height as far as I'm concerned. I don't think these would require any break in whatsoever.

So somfoetable!
I have a short, wide foot with a high instep, so I have a hard time finding the right fit. This was one of few wide options available, and was roomy enough to ad an arch support. The heel is relatively low and the sole has a nice, grippy tread.

Just what I was looking for!
I bought these boots this fall and really Iike them! The only reason I’m giving them 4/5 stars is because the left boot initially felt snug around the heel but after wearing them, they’ve been broken in and it doesn’t feel too tight. I understand this happens with leather products but when I first tried them on, the one boot very different on the heel! Overall, they are a no-frills, nice, clean boot that doesn’t have all the extra decorations, which is just what I wanted.
