Disheartened - Yet Again

I've been trying to find hiking boots or shoes at DSW for months now. Each time I order a pair online the ones with material on top have way too much material that makes for a painful bunch of pleats in the front top of the shoe any time you take a step or bend your foot. I've found this with different brands.
It seems manufacturers just want to make a one shoe fits all so they make them as wide as possible even if called "M" or medium. I need support for a walking shoe - that's the whole point of them. It's certainly not for prettiness or style!! Also, these don't feel very padded on the bottom. For $120 I want support and comfort.
I wish there were leather ones again. A few years ago I bought a pair of Italian hiking boots that are perfect and look good. Comfort, cushioning, waterproof. Sadly DSW has forgone the "D" in their name so that almost nothing is true designer or top quality. Depressing.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although these have a lot of cushioning, they were very stiff throughout the body of the shoe. I didn’t love how they made my foot like, they felt very wide. I did like the color though and am bummed they didn’t work out. Also, I am typically a size 8.5-9 and knew these might run big. I ordered and 8.5 and even with hiking socks on, they were a little loose.

Cross that ancient lava outcrop to get to the dog’s favorite swimming hole with ease and anticipation of tomorrow’s trek! These shoes take your mind off your feet and back to the scenery!
