Maybe for winter running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Material on top feels very hot, might be good in the winter, but we have been having 90 and above degree days and I cannot even picture running outside in these. The launch 11 had better material on top of the shoe. I do really like the feel of the sole of this shoe. I also like that the ankle area isn't as stiff as the launch 11, which was my only complaint about the 11’s. The fit is true to my normal size running shoes. They don’t feel heavy as far as weight goes, which is extremely important for me. I feel that most newer brooks sneakers are all being made heavier. I will not buy any shoes to run in that are 8 ounces or heavier.

Heels feel secure

I tried this shoe because I have a very narrow heel, and the toe box of my narrow width NB’s were starting to feel too restrictive. This shoe feels very secure at the heel without any chafing on the ankle bones, and my foot doesn’t slip when I move. They do provide all day comfort, but not in a cushy way, more supportive. If I had one complaint it would be that the toe box is a little more snug than I would like, especially considering that I have a narrow foot in a medium width shoe. However, that’s something I’ve noticed in other athletic shoe brands, so it may be an industry trend. Overall, I think it’s a great shoe, and I’m glad I bought it.

Still My Forever Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always done Launch over and over since came out. I got scared after Boston 2 Bog Sur when I had some old field hockey foot and ankle injuries that I needed more support and might need to change my shoe. However after some simple needed post 26.2 x 2 in 6 day rest after 60-70 mile week training…I returned and have had no problems and on to training for my next 26.2 in my beloved Launch.
