    Great for walking!

My podiatrist recommended several Brooks shoes so I bought a pair of blue Ghost Max 3. I like them so much, I bought this pair of the exact same shoe in gray/black. The wide toe box and cushioned sole are the best features.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I'm not a runner. I walk every morning 4-5 miles everyday at a very good pace. I've been a Hoka guy for many years and wanted a shoe that was lighter, more stable and still have excellent cushioning. The Ghost Max 3 definitely fit the bill. I have since purchased two pairs so that I can rotate my shoes. Kinda cool, Brooks is my last name too. Highly recommend.

    For now, the Ghost Max 3 shoes are ideal for me. The Brooks Shoe Finder agrees. The shoes are comfortable for walking. They have sufficient cushioning but not so much to cause a stability issue. They have a wide toe box which matches my feet well. There was a wide selection of colors which allowed me to choose one of my liking. The heel lock and tongue have made putting them on a little challenging thus far since the shoe does not have a pull-on at the back of the shoe but that issue may disappear after I wear them more.
