Bought these to have a good shoe for walking that has good arch support. They are comfortable right out of the box. Brooks run small, size up 1/2 a size.

Low cut sides

Since I need to wear the Good Feet inserts in my shoes to prevent plantar fasciitis I am not happy that this style runs low on the sides of the ankle. So I plan to wear them for shorter periods of time without the inserts rather than long all day outings when I’ll change to my Ghost style of Brooks that fit my inserts best. But I do wish Brooks shoes for women would have more padding in the “ball” area of the foot.

Good, true fit and comfortable out-of-the-box. I got this pair for workout classes and they do well, although not as comfortable as I’d hoped. Probably better for walking and an every day shoe.
