These little piggy toes... happily wiggle all day in the Birkenstock Mayari Sandal! I could not be any more pleased with how comfortable these sandals are. I especially love the additional toe loop which provides extra support and comfort for my piggies! Thank you Birkenstock and please continue to make sandals that are approved for "piggy toes"

I’ve had dupes of these and was reluctant to pay the money and get the real deal. BUT I will never go back. The difference is remarkable. Get these! They’re soooo comfortable.

Finally splurged on the Birkenstock version rather than the knock-offs - there is definitely a difference in quality and comfort. The price still feels high for a sandal, but I'm hoping their durability makes up for it!

The footbed is still leather, but the top isn't anymore. Since I really like this style and lost my last pair, I wanted to get a replacement. But since I bought my last pair (2022), they have gone to fake leather on top. I bought them as not having a better option, but expect them to be not as comfortable. PU leather doesn't stretch or have as much give and then there's the moisture absorption differences as well. Not much DSW can do about this, it's a Birkenstock issue--I did check their website and they don't carry a leather version either. But if you're buying a replacement, don't be fooled by the "Birko-Flor®" name. It's just another "synthetic" (their word choice, not mine) product--not the leather top you are used to. That said, the footbed remains the same (leather over cork) so how they break in and mold to your foot should be the same. This style is by far the most comfortable and least clunky looking of the Birkenstock line. I have a pair of Arizonas and Taorminas (also discontinued?). The Taorminas are also great--like the Mayari but with a back strap, so better when I also have a long drive.

Versatile, comfortable, well made shoes that elevate any outfit with a cool vibe. Good arch support and traction and the fit is great. I ordered the same size I order in my regular shoes and it worked perfectly. My daughter has the exact pair and they've proven very durable over the 5 years she's had them.

After years of battling plantar fasciitis I am buying another pair of Birks. I have been wearing them for about 5-6 years & haven’t had a single episode of plantar fasciitis!! Pre-Birkenstock I would have a couple of episodes a year & always being so careful. Birkenstocks have been great for me!

These are my go to shoes for daily life. I’ve spent many years in flat sandals with no support and it was hard on my feet. These shoes are light weight and get more comfortable as you wear them and they support my arches. They are truly the shoe I wear most every day.

I loved these sandals for the first few months. I wore them everyday during the warm months. Sandal weather finally kicked in recently, and I discovered the cork is split right where the top strap meets the foot bed. I see other reviews with pics of the same problem. This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and possibly my last. They didn't even last a year.
