Doesn't work with my arthritic toe.

I really wanted to love this sandal, hoping it wouldn't cause the main joint in my big toe to hurt, but one of the straps does put pressure on that joint. I guess Birkenstock just doesn't work for my situation. They all have straps that affect that joint.

Definitley NOT narrow/medium width Birkenstocks!

These are beautiful and very comfortable Birkenstocks, however these are NOT narrow/medium in width. The little foot width indicator emblem shows standard/wide width on the sole of the sandals I received and on the box they came in. I originally ordered a pair of the states narrow/medium width online and received the standard/wide width so I easily made a return in-store. The friendly and helpful DSW employee placed another order for me for what I was hoping would be the correct width. I ended up receiving the same width a few days later even after the order being placed by an DSW employee. Disappointed that these are not the correct width as stated, but shipping is fast and returns are easy.

Usually wear wedge heels but decided to try something lower. These are very comfortable and provide good support.

I ordered these expecting they’d be very comfortable. The part near the toes where the buckle is is attached by a flap that constantly irritates the top of my foot. couldn’t even wear them 5 minutes without wanting to never wear them again. returning for sure

1st but not last Birkenstocks!

I always thought of Birkenstocks as overpriced versions of cheaper lookalikes. NO MORE! These are so much more comfortable than the knock offs. I love the fact that the shoe conforms to my foot and gives ample arch support. No more toe curl while walking to try and keep the shoe on my foot. My first but definitely not my last pair of Birks!
