I usually wear a size 8 and these are too big and I even put an insoles in them and they’re still not right . Need to exchange for a 7 1/2

These shoes are as comfortable as all my other Birdies. There is a casual chicness to them that makes them perfect for all occasions. I have a bunion so am a bit picky about my shoes, and the flexibility of the material is very accommodating.

These weee true to size for my older feet with small bunions . Anyone with bunions knows how they are often pain points in many shoes we try to wear . I purchased 1/4 foot socks with tiny traction beads on the ball of the feet and these are pain free ! The socks took care of any friction issue I may have had due to said bunion. The shade is so lovely and versatile and compliments my slightly tan skin beautifully . The pointy toe elongates your leg line and blends seamlessly with skirts, pants, cropped pants and shorts alike. I am thrilled to have found a comfortable and stylish , well made pointy toe flat mule that will be a workhorse for my summer wardrobe . There is ample cushion underfoot so you don't feel like you're walking barefoot on concrete like so many quality leather soled sandals seem to have . Buy these !

Ordered the smallest size I ever wear and these were still huge. They seem pretty cute but not sure if they're comfortable since my feet kept falling off. Also they are priced considerably higher on the Birdies site than they are at places like Bloomingdales and Nordstrom, so better to order there.

This is my fourth pair of Starlings. I ordered the latte suede again as I out wore my previous pair which I wore weekly for almost two years. The neutral color goes with everything. Easy to pack & travel with as well.

I have two pairs of the Starling - one in suede and one in velvet - and wanted to replace my suede pair that’s looking very worn. Unfortunately, the new pair is not like the other two I have, and it’s not for the better. The new style has a more rounded toe instead of almond, is way too narrow for me, and they make my feet look really long. Depending on the shoe/style, I can wear between a 7 to 7. 5. My velvet Starlings are 7. 5 regular width and my suede ones are 7 wide. Both fit fine. But the pair I just ordered do not fit. I’m returning these and will continue to wear the raggedy pairs I have - that’s how disappointed I am with their restyle of the Starling.

Very comfortable, well made, high quality and fashionable. More colors please!
