Very comfortable boot with the perfect heel height. I have been wearing these all day and the comfort lasted throughout a lot of walking and standing. I usually buy my boots a half size larger; for this purchase I bought my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly even with a little thicker sock. These are well made and seem like they will wear in well.

These are very attractive, versatile boots. The fit and arch support are good, though they run a bit on the narrow side, so they’re not as comfortable if you’re on your feet most of the day.

I want to love these because my other Baretraps are great, but there are a few features that take down the love here. On the pro side, they're very sturdy. It's a heavy sole, if you appreciate that. The laces are thick so adjusting the tightness doesn't cut through the fingers. The side zipper is handy and you can leave the laces where you like them. I got the green pair and I really like the olive shade as they make an outfit more interesting. On the down side, even though I bought the medium foot, my pair fits pretty narrowly so I can't fit thicker or even mid-weight socks for the winter. The arch is in a funny spot, not quite mine, so they aren't the most comfortable shoe I've had. And those heavy soles, while great for keeping balance when I'm tired, have a distinctly plastic-y feel when I walk, as in, I feel every step harshly because they don't absorb shock the way rubber does. They're okay: certainly stylish, but not so good if you suffer chronic back pain.
