Great product but after a couple hikes the top lace holder popped out. It makes it difficult to tie for a strong ankle hold.

Great hiking boots

I bought these before going to Iceland where I trekked across rocky uneven ground to then explore 2 lava caves, a an ice cave, & hike a glacie. They not only had good traction, but also kept my feet warm & dry

Not very fitting

I purchased these to gear up for hiking. They feel like I am wearing clown shoes. I wear a 9.5 and that what I ordered. My feet are swimming in them. Not true to size.

Can hiking boots perform as they should AND be cute? These boots can! They are comfortable right out of the box. There is no need to "break them in". They are sturdy and my ankles feel secure especially along uneven ground. I did need to add an arch support insole of my own, but I have to do that with all my closed toe shoes anyway. I love the thick tread on the sole too that help your footsteps place firmly.. This was a rock solid purchase and will be exactly what I'll need on my next hiking adventure!

There was no breaking in period. They were comfortable from the first time wearing them. I did 5 miles with my dog with no issues.
