Poor quality and construction

I purchased these in August for a trip to Vietnam in October. I wore them once around the house before leaving to make sure they were comfortable. Now I’ve been in Vietnam for a week and have been using them regularly. They are already showing signs of wear, where the straps around the heels are pulling away from the sole. The glue that adheres the straps to the shoe seems very weak. I wouldn’t be surprised if my shoes break before the end of my trip in ten days. It’s very disappointing considering I spent $85 on them and might only get two weeks of use out of them.

I bought these shoes a few months ago and I'm glad that I did. I went to Jazz Fest in New Orleans and we walked for miles and they were so comfortable. I do wear a 7 and 1/2 to 8 and I got an eight in this shoe for the perfect fit.

Excellent sandals for hot, rainy weather

I purchased these Verra sandals to wear for a trip to East Asia during the summer rainy season. I was so glad to have purchased them. They were a lifesaver! It was great to have these on during sudden downpours and for crossing puddles. (The one day I wore sneakers, they got soaked and I wished I had worn these instead.) I also wore these sandals for light hiking and was surprised to discover that they had pretty good grip on slick rock.
Cons:
-My feet got sore after a full day of wearing these sandals but perhaps that's to be expected with any type of sandal. I was torn between purchasing the Verras and the Hurricane XLT 2 Ampsoles but the Ampsoles' platform was too high for me when I tried them on in-store. In retrospect, the Ampsoles might have provided more cushion/support, which might have alleviated the soreness (can't say for sure).
-I found that the straps rubbed against my pinky toes but I remedied that by loosening the straps and wearing band aids for a day or two.
